Jenkins Twp. Lions to collect eyeglasses, and hearing aids
From Jan. 18-31, the Jenkins Township Lions Club will conduct its annual Eyeglass Recycling Program at various locations. Gently used prescription and nonprescription eyeglasses and sunglasses will be accepted as well as over-the-ear hearing aides. All items will be refurbished and given to anyone in need. Broken frames and cracked lenses are not usable. Monetary donations are also invited. Items and donations may be dropped off at the Jenkins Township Municipal Building, Inkerman; Wesley Village Partridge-Tippett; Meyers Manor office; Anderson Personal Care; Northeast Eye Institute, Pittston Plaza; Pittston Area Senior High School; Dr. James Bozzuto Vision Associates.
